Unbelievable. I really really like this video. There aren’t many hip-hop/rap music videos out there that actually have more in it than big spinners, ghetto booties and lots of bling-bling. This one is certainly different. Nevermind that Kanye West, at times, is a drama queen. This doesn’t matter as long as he’s popping up tracks like that. Done deal I’d say. Now of course we can see the fact that currently Kanye is better than 50 Cent from the “Graduation” album sales numbers.
50 Cent is now saying (due to the “poor” sales numbers) that he’s thinking about not doing any further albums and came out blaming Interscope about the low album sales..
Rapper 50 Cent has slammed Interscope Records for failing to adequately promote his album Curtis, accusing his record label of “dropping the ball” in his chart battle against Kanye West.
The In Da Club hitmaker - real name Curtis Jackson - released his new LP on Tuesday, the same day as West’s Graduation - but the Stronger star is already outselling 50 Cent by two to one, according to midweek sales figures.
And Jackson is so unhappy with Interscope he has vowed to ditch the label after he completes his contract.
Speaking to DJ Angie Martinez on New York radio station Hot 97 on Wednesday, he says, “To be honest the process of selling this record hasn’t been fun. I’m happy with the performance, but I’m not happy with the set up. We had conference calls and after we created this plan, nobody actually had a plan.
“It was the label. They’re dropping the ball all over the place. I’ll release my next album and then I’m a free agent.”
What’s up with that? Well what can I say. I’ve listened to their both album. From track one to the very end. Kanye West’s “Graduation” just sounds and feels a lot better. 50 Cent has just a few tracks that I liked (most of them made singles anyway), others were just plain boring.
A nyway, for all the music video junkies out there. Watch the music video - Kanye West feat. T-Pain - Good Life.
